The Westminster Street village is home to a number of little shops including; Tall Grass Bakery, Prana Yoga, Prairie Sky Books, a couple of light fare eateries, a shaker style furniture maker, a wool & yarn shop and a small organic grocery called Organic Planet. 

A short walk over the Maryland bridge to Academy Road and you will find a more diverse and lively array of shops and services including; a selection of retail shops, an assortment of fine dining restaurants for the discerning palette, (Pizzeria Gusto, Close Company and Maque) as well as many physicians offices.

The posh promenade has long epitomized elegant charm, with clusters of locally-owned shops, character homes and century-old trees lining the street. 

Drink specialty tea or java from around the globe at Cornelia Bean. Shelves are stocked with loose teas, like rare tung ting oolong, grown in Vietnam, and freshly roasted coffee beans.

The suite is located in one of the premier neighbourhoods in Winnipeg, central to everything with majestic homes surrounded by canopies of trees. The suite and home retain all of the century old charm and character combined with modern updated amenities. It lacks nothing. Liam is a very attentive and gracious host. We will definitely stay there again on future visits to Winnipeg.
